The talented infielder from Nebraska, who had quite the debut season, is looking for a new home after just one year with the Commodores.
Kozeal’s Impressive Freshman Year
In his freshman campaign, Kozeal didn’t just blend in; he stood out! He played in 43 games, starting 35 of them. He managed to hit five home runs and drove in 28 RBIs, maintaining a solid batting average of .284. You have to admit, that’s a strong start for any freshman, especially in one of the toughest divisions in college baseball. Back in March, Kozeal’s performance was so stellar that he earned the title of SEC Freshman of the Week after racking up 14 hits—the highest record in all of Division I for that week!
