New Age-Progressed Photo of Long-Missing Tabitha Tuders Released

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An Updated Image

It has been more than two decades since 13-year-old Tabitha Tuders disappeared without a trace from the east Nashville neighborhood she called home. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children recently released an updated image of what Tabitha could look like today, age-progressed to 34 years.

Tabitha’s father, Bo Tuders, has kept a banner spotlighting his missing daughter’s case outside his house since she vanished in 2003. Looking at the banner, Bo comments, “It’s still in good shape. Why take it down when it’s served this purpose all these years, and it’ll keep serving its purpose as long as it can?”

Three Decades of Hope Fueled by New Photos

This isn’t the first time an age-enhanced photo of Tabitha has been released. Previous iterations over the years have played a crucial role in keeping her disappearance in the public eye, stimulating valuable tips for investigators and fueling hope for her family. Her father affirms the efficacy of these images, stating, “more tips usually pour in when they release a new age progression, along with more tips on Tabitha’s birthday and the anniversary of her disappearance.”

Emotional Struggles

Seeing Tabitha’s potential transformation from a teenager to a grown woman solely through computer-generated images is, as would be expected, difficult for her family. “It’s rough watching it through the photos rather than watching it in real life. We’d rather have her with us than looking at her that way,” Bo admits.

A Call to Action

Despite the heartache, each new image of what Tabitha might look like brings renewed hopes of possible breakthroughs in the case. Bo appeals to the public, “If you see somebody who resembles this photo, get in touch with authorities. Let them go check it out.”

Tabitha Tuders, who would now be a woman in her thirties, vanished on way to a bus stop close to her home on April 29, 2003. Anyone with information about Tabitha or any potential sightings that may assist in this cold case’s resolution should contact local authorities immediately.
