Nashville, TN – The Allman Betts Family Revival has announced a tour with some special guests for 2023, with a significant stop at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Special guests for the tour include Ghalia Volt, Mattie Schell, and Mike Zito who will be present for the tour kickoff on November 25 in St. Louis, MO. Also, Sierra Ferrell is set to join the group on December 15 at The Ryman in Nashville, TN.
The Allman Family Revival begun as a single concert in 2017 at The Fillmore in San Francisco, in celebration of what would have been the 70th birthday of the late legendary musician Gregg Allman. Today, the event has grown into a full tour and is currently in its 7th year.
Recently, this iconic music event rebranded itself to the Allman Betts Family Revival. It now features Devon Allman, son of Gregg Allman, and Duane Betts, son of Dickey Betts, as they carry forward their fathers’ musical heritage. They have further enriched the tour by including a variety of hand-picked musical artists.
The setlist promises the audience the hits and deep cuts from the Allman Brothers’ catalogue performed by an all-star band. This features Devon Allman, Duane Betts, various members of The Allman Betts Band, as well as special guests such as Jimmy Hall, Jackie Greene, Larry McCray, and many others. Other A-list guest artists will join the tour in select cities including Chuck Leavell, J.D. Simo, Vaylor Trucks and G. Love.
An exciting addition to the tour is The Brotherhood of Light, set to provide the legendary visuals and mesmerizing liquid light shows reminiscent of the Allman Brothers peak.
