Australian Pop Band Sheppard Announces US Tour, to Perform at Franklin Theatre Following Success of Album ZORA

Australian Pop Superstars Sheppard Set to Light Up Franklin Theatre

Australian pop music sensation, Sheppard, is ready to infuse a new energy into the Franklin Theatre with their breathtaking performance. The band has made a big announcement about a US headline tour, following the successful release of their much-awaited studio album ZORA. The tour will initiate from Denver, Colorado’s Summit Music Hall on August 20th, and will make its stop at the Franklin Theatre on September 14th.

Sheppard’s Climbing Success with Album ZORA

The band’s latest album, ZORA, marking their fourth full-fledged album, dazzled the music studios by debuting at #1 on the ARIA Australian Album Charts and #8 on the ARIA Overall Album Charts. On these charts, Sheppard shared the limelight with established music talents like Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Morgan Wallen, The Weeknd, Chappell Roan, Luke Combs, and Olivia Rodrigo. The band managed to stand out as the only Australian act in the Top 40.

Furthermore, the success of ZORA is seen as even more special, as it happens to coincide with the band’s ten-year anniversary of their global mega-hit “Geronimo”, which has made waves across the internet all over again.

Sheppard’s Journey from Brisbane to Nashville

Sheppard, made up of siblings George, Amy, and Emma, originally hail from Brisbane, Australia. In 2023, they relocated to Nashville with an aspiration to establish a stronger connection with their US and Canadian fans. The band conducted a tour in June across Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and New York for pre-launch shows ahead of the release of ZORA. The shows received overwhelming responses and sold-out crowds, driving the band to arrange a second run of dates.

“The love and response that fans showed us across these shows took our breath away. We know fans had been craving live shows, and this response led to the extension of the Say Geronimo! tour,” expressed Sheppard.

A Celebration of Geronimo

The extension of the Say Geronimo! tour visualizes the band’s celebration for “Geronimo,” which has now reached beyond the 1 billion stream mark. The band is greatly enthused about sharing their latest album live with their fans all across the US. Tickets for Sheppard’s show at the Franklin Theatre can be acquired here.
