Heather Alleva and Lindsay Ray Appointed as New Shareholders at Baker Donelson’s Nashville Office

Two New Shareholders Appointed at Baker Donelson’s Nashville Office

In a major development, law firm Baker Donelson has updated its Nashville office’s leadership by appointing Heather Alleva and Lindsay Ray as new shareholders.

About the New Shareholders

Both Alleva and Ray have demonstrated remarkable performance and contributed significantly to the firm. Heather Alleva, who joined the company as an associate in 2021, is currently part of Baker Donelson’s health law group. She handles regulatory and compliance aspects, fraud analyses, internal investigations, and corporate compliance. Alongside her primary roles, Alleva is also the co-chair of the firm’s behavioral health initiative and an active member of both the Nashville Health Care Council and the American Health Law Association.

On the other hand, Lindsay Ray joined the firm as counsel in 2022 and is a member of the government enforcement and investigations group at Baker Donelson. Her area of expertise revolves around white-collar defense, complex commercial litigation, and governmental investigations, among other litigation matters. Furthermore, Ray is an active member of the Tennessee chapter of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association and the Nashville Sports Council Young Professionals Network.

Recent Growth at Baker Donelson

The promotion of Alleva and Ray to shareholders isn’t a standalone event. It is, in fact, part of a recent string of 13 promotions to shareholders nationally, representing Baker Donelson’s commitment to fostering growth and development within the firm. The Nashville office currently boasts 99 attorneys, of which 47 are shareholders, along with a staff of 81.

In addition to these promotions, Baker Donelson’s lobbying arm has been particularly active at the state legislature this year. The firm, despite being headquartered in Memphis, has a significant presence in Nashville. Earlier this year, the company appointed Martha Boyd as the chair of its labor and employment group, boosting the leadership team’s strength.

Leadership Views

Leaders at Baker Donelson have yet not made any public statements about the recent promotions. However, these appointments reflect the firm’s commitment to providing robust and effective services to its clientele. They also align with the firm’s growth strategy and dedication to cultivating a diverse, inclusive work environment.

About Baker Donelson

Baker Donelson is a well-established law firm that caters to a wide range of industries, offering comprehensive legal and advocacy services. The firm is known for its commitment to excellent client service and its deeply ingrained culture of diversity and inclusion.

Without a doubt, the addition of Heather Alleva and Lindsay Ray as new shareholders will help bolster the leadership team at the Nashville office of Baker Donelson, assisting in further expansion and reaching the firm’s future goals.
