In a recent announcement, the esteemed Cupola Animal Hospitals family declared the integration of highly skilled veterinarians, Dr. Eliza Cary, DVM, and Dr. Baker Smith, DVM, to their team.
The Middle Tennessee native, Dr. Eliza Cary, will be joining the staff at Concord Road Animal Hospital in Brentwood, while Dr. Baker Smith will look after patients at Cupola Northlake in Hermitage.
Dr. Cary was born and raised in Murfreesboro and is a prominent alumnus of the University of Tennessee. Before earning her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, she successfully acquired a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Subsequent to graduation, Nashville became her new home due to familial proximity. She has since been practising in the same city. Geriatric care, feline medicine and dermatology are her chosen fields of professional expertise.
In contrast, Dr. Smith is a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee, earning his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. The young practitioner originally comes from Houston, Texas, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University. His domains of professional interest include ophthalmology, dentistry and soft tissue surgery.
With utmost elation, Dr. Cary informed, “Being able to serve my hometown as a veterinarian is a dream come true.” She further added, “It’s incredibly rewarding to give back to the community that raised me by providing top-notch care for their beloved pets.”
