From 10:30 am to 12 pm, visitors can engage with local wild animal ambassadors and learn about their lives during one of the busiest months of the year. 2. World Oddities Expo at the Nashville Fairgrounds

Come experience the bizarre and unconventional at the World Oddities Expo, a travelling festival setting camp at the Nashville Fairgrounds from 11 am to 7 pm this Saturday. Be prepared to be dazzled by myriad artists, performers, vendors, guest speakers, who will unfold a world of peculiarities. Your general admission ticket grants access to the Lost Curio Marketplace, where you can shop for an array of items ranging from taxidermy, insects, unique art, antiques, and more.

3. Juneteenth Celebration at the Tennessee State Museum

The Tennessee State Museum invites you to join in the celebration of Juneteenth, a historical tribute to the end of slavery. The event comprises musical performances, gallery tours, and talks. Some of the day’s highlights include children’s craft activities, storytime with Tonya Abari, author of the children’s book ‘Let’s Celebrate Juneteenth’, and an entertainment hour in the Digital Learning Center from 12 pm till 2 pm.

4. TROLLS: Save the Humans at Cheekwood

Cheekwood presents a unique outdoor installation titled TROLLS: Save the Humans by Thomas Dambo. Visitors will get to meet six young trolls who aim to reconnect humans with nature and promote sustainability. Positioned strategically amid Cheekwood’s beautiful gardens, these giant trolls provide an imaginative experience for all.

5. Opera on the Mountain at Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory

End the day with a beautiful operatic performance under the stars at the Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory. The Nashville Opera is all set to welcome the summer of 2024 with the Opera on the Mountain on Saturday.
