The announcement came on November 29, 2023, delighting fans eagerly awaiting the lineup for the much-anticipated event. Besides hosting the event, King will also grace the stage at the Bicentennial Mall, performing her chart-topping hits.

The event, set to air live from Music City on CBS Television Network and Paramount+, will span from 7:30 PM to 1:05 AM (ET/PT) on Sunday, Dec. 31st. The event will be live-streamed for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers and available on demand the following day for Paramount+ Essential subscribers.

Sharing her excitement, Elle King stated, “New Year’s Eve is the one party we celebrate all over the world. I wouldn’t want to spend it any other place than Music City! I’m beyond thrilled to host another night of music, friends, love, and joy. I can’t wait to celebrate an incredible year and usher in a new one together.”

Rachel Smith echoed similar sentiments, adding, “Being back in Nashville co-hosting with my girl Elle is something I look forward to every year. We’re going to put on an unforgettable show from Music City, and Nashville’s Big Bash will be the perfect soundtrack to ring in another year with family and friends.”

The city is buzzing with anticipation as up to 50 high-energy performances are scheduled, including big-name performers such as country music superstars Thomas Rhett, Lynyrd, Skynyrd, Lainey Wilson, and more. The five-hour marathon celebration will transcend time zones with the iconic countdown at midnight Eastern Time, culminating in Nashville’s legendary music note drop and fireworks display at midnight Central Time.

Further details related to additional performers and schedules will be announced at a later date. With such a stellar lineup and the promise of a memorable night, Nashville’s Big Bash aims to strike a harmonious note to bid farewell to the year and ring in a new one.
