8th Elvis Festival Begins Today at Factory at Franklin
Festival Overview
Nashville, Tennessee – The 8th annual Elvis Festival kicks off today at Liberty Hall, in the much-loved Factory at Franklin. This fervently anticipated festival is held in honor of the inimitable ‘King of Rock and Roll’, Elvis Presley. Beginning today, the festival will span over four days filled with talented tributes, captivating shows, and late-night parties, all themed around celebrating the enduring legacy of Elvis.
What’s on the Line-Up?
This year’s festival lineup includes a spectacular series of 10 shows and 3 late-night parties- keeping in perfect harmony with the traditional flavor of Nashville’s vibrant and energetic nights. The festival is hosted and produced by known Elvis aficionado, Tom Brown. Keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats, the festival will feature a special 50th-anniversary recreation of the iconic “Elvis as Recorded on Stage in Memphis, Tennessee” album, providing a delightful throwback for the audience.
Adding to the mix, there will be a lifetime career retrospective, aptly titled “The Elvis Story”, and the ever-popular “Elvis Gospel Live” among other engaging events. Organizers have kept the excitement alive by promising special guests and 30 of the best Elvis tribute artists from around the world.
Global Tribute Artist Contest
One of the much-awaited highlights of the festival is the Ultimate Tribute Artist Contest. The winner of this contest will move on to compete in Graceland’s Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Semifinal & Finals in Memphis during the annual Elvis Week each August. The tribute artists taking part in the contest come from far and wide, including countries such as Japan, England, Chile, Brazil, Norway, Germany, and many states from the USA.
