Nashville Gears Up for the 5th Annual “Hometown To Hometown” Fundraiser

Hey there, music lovers! Exciting news is buzzing around Nashville, as the Save The Music Foundation prepares for its fifth annual “Hometown To Hometown” fundraising event. Mark your calendars for October 15, because this year’s event will be held at the charming City Winery in the heart of Music City. It’s going to be a fun-filled evening dedicated to raising funds for an incredible cause: bringing music education to schools that really need it.

A Celebration of Music and Impact

One of the highlights of the evening is the honoring of some pretty amazing individuals in the music industry. The Save The Music Foundation will shine the spotlight on Ali Harnell, the President of Live Nation Women, singer-songwriters Brittney Spencer and Maren Morris. Harnell is no stranger to the foundation, serving as a longtime advisor and producing tours for stars like Morris herself, as well as Brandi Carlile and even media mogul Oprah Winfrey. Her efforts in elevating female-led tours and contributing to various causes have led to millions of dollars being raised for different nonprofit organizations, thanks to her knack for organizing spectacular benefit events.

Brittney Spencer, a rising star in the music world, will also be recognized for her ongoing support of music initiatives. Spencer graced the stage at both last year’s “Hometown To Hometown” and another significant event, “Music Saves L.A.” She’s all about advocating for the next generation of musicians, and that’s something the Save The Music Foundation truly values. And let’s not forget about Maren Morris! Honored for her remarkable achievements and her advocacy for music education, Morris continues to spearhead change within the industry.

Exciting Performances Await

The event will be co-hosted by CMT’s Leslie Fram and talented artist Angie K, ensuring that the atmosphere will be both entertaining and inspiring. Guests will have the chance to groove to outstanding acoustic performances from an impressive lineup that includes Spencer, Morris, as well as other talented artists like Abbey Cone, Allison Russell with Ruby Amanfu, Brandy Clark, and Joy Oladokun. This mix of emerging and established talent promises to keep everyone entertained throughout the night.

And as if that wasn’t enough, attendees will also have the chance to see special guests like Morris’ mother, Kellie, and music education advocates from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), including Beverly Keel. It’s shaping up to be an event filled with love, talent, and a profound impact on music education.

The Mission Behind the Music

The Save The Music Foundation has been on a mission for over 25 years, impacting the lives of countless children by donating more than $78 million in instruments and music technology equipment to over 2,800 public schools across the country. The proceeds from this year’s “Hometown To Hometown” will specifically go towards enhancing music technology programs in under-resourced high schools in Nashville, Baltimore, and Dallas. This effort is such a fantastic way to ensure that students who may not have access to quality music education can still explore their creative talents.

Get Involved!

If you’re interested in being part of this incredible evening, don’t wait! Tickets are currently available and can be purchased until October 14. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this fundraiser promises to be a memorable night celebrating the power of music and supporting the next generation of musicians. So grab your tickets and be ready for a night full of amazing talent and heartwarming stories!
