It might sound like a lot, but amid all these challenges, Kim manages to stay positive and is determined to chase happiness. And who doesn’t love a good underdog story?

This isn’t just any musical — KIMBERLY AKIMBO was named Best Musical by the Tony Awards, New York Drama Critics Circle, The Drama Desk Awards, The Lucille Lortel Awards, and The Outer Critics Circle Awards. The show also bagged four other Tony Awards: Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical, Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, Best Score by David Lindsay-Abaire and Jeanine Tesori, and Best Book by David Lindsay-Abaire.
