NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Country music lovers are about to be treated to an exquisite, Louisiana-inspired ambience as Lainey Wilson, the 2023 CMA Entertainer of the Year, launches her new Nashville bar ‘Bell Bottoms Up’. As one of the only female artists to open her very own venue, Wilson’s new venture is a breath of fresh air in Nashville’s entertainment district. Located at 120 Third Avenue South, the bar debuted on the morning of Friday, May 31st.
Occupying the former location of FGL House in downtown Nashville, ‘Bell Bottoms Up’ presents a unique bar experience over a sprawling 27,000 square-foot, four-story building. As guests enter, they are greeted with neon lights and photos of the “Watermelon Moonshine” singer, including highlights of Wilson’s performances and achievements.
The venue houses three live music stages and six bars across all floors, providing an immersive journey through music and ambiance. The rustic appeal of the second floor juxtaposes elegantly with the fashionable décor, while the mezzanine floor offers a beautiful view over the first-floor stage and dining area.
The rooftop, characterized by a lively dance floor and disco-inspired décor, encapsulates a ’70s western theme. A particularly eye-catching feature is the bell bottoms installation – a nod to the bar’s name. Along with providing a fantastic outdoor experience, the rooftop showcases mesmerizing views of the Nashville skyline.
For those who enjoy the allure of the Bayou, the basement level awaits. Slated to open later this summer, it promises live music, dueling pianos, and an engaging environment accented with intriguing décor. While you’re taken by the charm of the setting, you can also indulge in a feast of craft cocktails.
On top of the exceptional music and atmosphere, guests can savor a taste of the South with Wilson’s Louisiana-inspired menu. From crawfish crab cake sliders, cajun corn ribs, and shrimp and grits to a mouthwatering cajun chicken, sausage, and shrimp pasta, the dishes are sure to satisfy your palate.
Wilson’s ‘Bell Bottoms Up’ is not just a bar, but a testament to her love for music and her roots. Coinciding with the kick-off of her “Country’s Cool Again Tour” happening right here in Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater, this venture certainly moves the narrative of country music a step forward. As the latest addition to the vibrant Nashville entertainment scene, ‘Bell Bottoms Up’ promises a fascinating night out for locals and visitors alike.
