A Hendersonville mother is behind bars after reportedly drowning her seven-year-old daughter in a creek near a local greenway, a shocking incident that rocked the local community. According to the police reports, Elliot allegedly told authorities she had had a rough day and desired some alone time. Her daughter came outside and “refused to leave her alone“. The child was unwilling to stay in the house by herself, which led the mother to take the child across the street to the greenway.

Apparently telling the child to stay quiet while she held her under the water, Elliott pulled her daughter out when she felt her ‘bubbling’.
