Nashville Opens Waitlist for Nearly 100 Affordable Housing Units
Project-Based Voucher Locations
The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) has announced the opening of waitlists for two project-based voucher locations in Nashville. The waitlists open from noon on March 26 and will close at 3 p.m. on April 1. This process will not use a first come, first served system, according to MDHA. Instead, by applying anytime during the waitlist period, applicants are guaranteed a chance of being placed at the top of the list.
Online Applications
Applications will only be accepted online and can be submitted 24 hours a day during the open application period. The steps to apply are simple and the process takes less than five minutes to complete. Applicants are required to register a new username and password and must possess a valid email address. Upon successful submission of an application, applicants will receive an email confirmation. A follow-up email will be sent within 30 days confirming whether the pre-application has been accepted and put on the waiting list or rejected.
