Nashville, Tenn. — Big news for all you travel enthusiasts! Nashville International Airport (BNA) announced on Friday that it will soon be offering nonstop flights to Dublin, Ireland! That’s right, get ready to pack your bags because starting April 12, 2025, you’ll have a quick and easy way to hop over the pond.
The new flights will be operated by the airline Aer Lingus and will run four times a week. So, if you have been dreaming of a trip to the land of rolling green hills, clover, and maybe a pint of Guinness, now is your chance! The service will include roundtrip flights, with fares starting at a very reasonable $499, taxes, fees, and carrier charges included.
Travelers will be comfortably whisked away on an Airbus A321XLR, taking an exciting 8.5-hour journey from Nashville to Dublin on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This is a fantastic option for anyone looking to explore Europe or just relax in the vibrant city of Dublin.
But wait, there’s more! Once you land in Dublin, Aer Lingus has you covered. They will offer additional connections to some of Europe’s most stunning cities, including London, Edinburgh, Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, Manchester, and Berlin. Talk about an adventure!
This new route comes in response to the clear demand for international travel. According to Doug Kreulen, President and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, around 2,176 passengers leave from BNA daily for international destinations. This new direct flight to Dublin is sure to make travel a whole lot easier for Tennesseans and visitors alike.
Doug highlights that not only does this new route make international travel more convenient, but it will also boost tourism and create economic opportunities for the Middle Tennessee region. More travelers mean more business for local shops and services, which is always a welcome benefit.
Susanne Carberry, Chief Customer Officer of Aer Lingus, also shared her excitement. She mentioned that this connection between Music City and Dublin serves to strengthen the musical and business ties between Tennessee and Ireland. After all, Nashville is known as the Music City for a reason, and what better place to connect with another vibrant culture?
It’s worth noting that this is not the only new route BNA is introducing. Just last week, it was announced that Icelandair would also be starting flights out of Nashville in spring 2025. Nashville is becoming a hub for global travel, and it’s clear that the city is expanding its international reach.
Ready to explore Dublin? Be sure to mark your calendars for April 12, 2025, and grab those tickets once they become available. This is a perfect opportunity to explore the rich culture, history, and picturesque landscapes of Ireland. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
For those eager to embark on this journey, keep an eye out for booking information as the opening date approaches. Remember, take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to experience all that Ireland and Europe have to offer!
