Avdiu was being sought by law enforcement after a warrant was issued for his arrest related to a shooting that occurred on August 5, involving a 30-year-old Nashville resident. According to Metro Police, officers first located Avdiu on Kendall Park Drive while conducting an unrelated investigation. When police approached him, they observed what seemed to be drug activity, prompting them to call for backup.

They found approximately 4.7 grams of blue powder, which tested positive for fentanyl, along with 800-900 pills that also tested positive for fentanyl. Metro Police conducted a further search at Avdiu’s residence. During that search, they confiscated two rifles, numerous loaded magazines, a money counter, and a total of $7,210.50 in cash.
