Nashville, known as the heart of country music, was buzzing with excitement last night (Nov. 19) as BMG Nashville threw a fabulous Pre-CMA Awards Party at the lively Brooklyn Bowl. This event wasn’t just another gathering; it was a warm celebration of the label’s incredible roster, dedicated team, loyal partners, and of course, the fans who make it all possible. Can you feel the energy?
Jon Loba, the Americas President of BMG, took the helm of the event, guiding the festivities with enthusiasm that was infectious. The evening was all about honoring the noteworthy accomplishments of some of country music’s brightest stars, including the chart-toppers Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Dustin Lynch, and Parmalee.
First up was the ever-popular Jason Aldean, who celebrated an impressive 28 No. 1 hits at country radio. Can you imagine the sheer number of parties he must have been throwing over the years for each one of those milestones? Meanwhile, Blake Shelton was showered with accolades for his latest single “Texas,” earning a whopping 156 first-week radio adds. Talk about making an entrance!
Dustin Lynch was also on stage to share in the festivities, proudly recognized for his 10 No. 1 country radio songs—each one a testament to his talent and hard work. Lastly, the party showered Parmalee with applause for their impressive streak of three consecutive No. 1 singles. What a night to be part of!
The party wasn’t just about the awards. It featured electrifying live performances that had everyone on their feet! Hosted by the charming duo of Austin & Colin, the event treated attendees to memorable sets from the star-studded lineup: Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Dustin Lynch, Parmalee, and more. The music flowed as twin harmonies from The Frontmen, the fresh sounds of Haven Madison and Dylan Schneider, as well as hits from Madeline Merlo, Frank Ray, and others filled the air with magic.
It was, without a doubt, a night where glitz met heartfelt music and community. With artists like K. Michelle, Drew Baldridge, Chayce Beckham, and Lanie Gardner also joining in, the evening felt like a cozy reunion amongst friends, all passionate about the art they create.
As the evening wrapped up, excitement swirled around the upcoming CMA Awards, which are set to be aired tonight (Nov. 20) on ABC. In true Nashville spirit, two of the label’s rising stars, Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll, are among the nominees for the coveted Entertainer of the Year. Lainey is also up for the Single of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Music Video of the Year, showcasing her incredible talent.
Jelly Roll, on the other hand, is receiving recognition for Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year, making the competition fierce and the stakes high. With this amount of talent represented, tonight’s award show promises to be unforgettable!
Nashville once again proves to be a hub of creativity and camaraderie, uniting artists, fans, and industry professionals. The BMG Nashville Pre-CMA Awards Party not only celebrated triumphs but also set the tone for an exciting night ahead. Here’s to many more nights filled with music, friendships, and unforgettable memories in Music City!
