Nashville is buzzing with excitement as new restaurants spring up across the city! From **tacos** to **burgers**, there’s a little something for everyone to enjoy. Let’s dive into what’s happening in the local dining scene.
First up on our foodie tour is the Georgia-based Mexican restaurant, Surcheros, which has just opened its doors in Antioch, right at 4060 Cane Ridge Parkway in the Tanger Outlets mall. That’s right; if you’ve been craving some delicious Mexican fare, you won’t have to wait long to satisfy your taste buds! This is Surcheros’s first venture into Tennessee, operated by WilCo Fresh Mex LLC.
What’s even more exciting? The company has plans to roll out seven additional locations in the greater Nashville area in the coming years. Mark your calendars for 2025, as they’re planning to open a location in Mt. Juliet, followed by two more spots in Nashville by 2028!
Surcheros has a diverse menu that includes everything from **tacos** to **salads**, **bowls**, and signature **grilled burritos**. You can also build your dream dish with over **25 toppings** and a selection of sauces. The Antioch location boasts seating for over **50 guests** indoors, and for those who enjoy some fresh air, there’s an outdoor patio with additional seating options.
“The Nashville area is the perfect market for Surcheros as we continue expanding by introducing our bold flavors and Southern hospitality,” says Luke Christian, founder and CEO of Surcheros. He added that the buzzing mix of residents and visitors at the outlet makes it an ideal spot. Sounds like a perfect add-on to the already vibrant food scene!
Next on our list is M.L.Rose, known for its amazing burgers and vibrant atmosphere. They’re all set to launch their **sixth Nashville-area location** on October 21, at 2145 Nashville Pike in Gallatin. This new spot will be situated in a freshly constructed retail center that also includes an Edley’s Bar-B-Que.
M.L.Rose Gallatin will feature stunning amenities with seating for over **200 guests** across an indoor dining area, bar, and two patio spaces. A standout feature at this location is a **two-sided outdoor fireplace**, perfect for cozy gatherings, alongside a **dog-friendly patio**. Plus, there’s a private dining room for those special celebrations!
The menu doesn’t disappoint, offering a tempting variety of food, from beer-braised and fried wings to mouthwatering burgers and crispy waffle fries. And let’s not forget about the craft beer selection, which boasts **36 taps and numerous bottles and cans**. The founder, Austin Ray, expressed excitement about the new location and the positive buzz surrounding it.
Over in East Nashville, the beloved burger joint Joyland is making plans to bring its unique flavors to the west side of town. A new permit has been filed for a location at 4013 Charlotte Ave., expanding Joyland’s reach from its original spot on Woodland St.
The menu is filled with tasty options like their signature **crustburgers**, **chicken sandwiches**, breakfast delights, and even **alcohol-infused milkshakes**. **Chef Sean Brock**, the creative mind behind Joyland, recently opened a spot in Birmingham earlier this year, and it looks like Nashville is next!
Last but certainly not least, we have The Asbury, set to open at 1516A Demonbreun St. this month, conveniently located near Tin Roof. This venue is all about food, cocktails, and live music, making it a perfect addition to Midtown’s vibrant nightlife scene.
Nashville is indeed becoming a haven for food lovers, with more options popping up to tantalize local taste buds. Whether you’re in the mood for Mexican, a juicy burger, or a fabulous meal with good vibes, the city has you covered. So, gather your friends, explore the new dining spots, and enjoy the rich flavors that Nashville has to offer!
