Hey there, folks! We’ve got some exciting news coming straight from the heart of Music City, Nashville! Dreamliner, a well-known name in the music industry when it comes to upscale travel coaches, has just made a significant move that’s bound to turn heads. You may have heard of Dreamliner as the go-to choice for some of the biggest names in the music biz—think Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Chris Stapleton, P!nk, Drake, and even Tool. Well, it looks like they’re not stopping there!
In an exciting announcement, Dreamliner has acquired two events transportation logistics companies! The newly added companies are Shomotion, based in Denver, and Show Pro, right in Nashville. While details about the financial terms of the deal are still under wraps, what we do know is that both founders from these companies will be joining the Dreamliner executive team. That sure sounds like a winning combination!
So, what does this all mean for Dreamliner and its clients? Well, let’s just say that they’re gearing up for something big! With these new acquisitions, Dreamliner is projecting an impressive revenue increase of over 40 percent by 2025. Talk about ambitious! The owner and CEO, Rich Thompson, is thrilled about this expansion, positioning Dreamliner as the world’s largest provider of entertainer-focused coaches and trucking services.
This acquisition is not just about adding to their fleet; it’s also about broadening their service offerings. Dreamliner will now be able to provide full-service transportation logistics, extending beyond just music tours. Clients can look forward to a comprehensive range of new services like transportation for motion picture productions, mobile marketing campaigns, theatrical productions, and festivals all throughout North America. It’s like they’ve opened up a treasure trove of options!
As part of the acquisition, Dreamliner will be keeping the fabulous team from Shomotion and Show Pro. This includes around 65 full-time employees who will continue to work across the two new locations. Dreamliner will take charge of Shomotion’s lovely five-acre property in Denver and Show Pro’s vibrant three-acre space in Nashville. Plus, they’re also welcoming over 70 trucks and 220 trailers into the fold, enhancing their logistics capacity significantly! This includes everything from air ride van trailers to step deck flatbeds. That’s quite the upgrade!
Speaking of strong, Michael Scherkenbach, the founder and CEO of Shomotion, shared his excitement for this new chapter. He’s remaining on board to lead the Denver transportation services division, and he’s confident that this merger marks a historical milestone for the entertainment logistics sector. With a client list that includes Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, and Elton John, it’s hard not to get excited about the potential this brings.
Let’s not forget about Show Pro! The company has made its mark by providing services for artists like Jelly Roll, SZA, 21 Savage, and The Kid Laroi. Their expertise and experience will surely add value to Dreamliner’s mission moving forward.
With all these changes, it looks like Dreamliner is paving the way for an incredible future. We’re eager to see how they expand their offerings and enhance services for entertainers in the years to come. With Dreamliner at the helm, the journey ahead is looking very bright indeed!
