One Man Killed, Several Shot at Nashville Restaurant During Easter Brunch
Tragic Easter Violence in Nashville
A peaceful Easter Brunch was brutally disrupted in Nashville at a popular local eatery, ‘Roasted’, in the Salemtown neighborhood. Around 3 pm this Sunday, a man began firing his weapon inside the bustling restaurant, tragically claiming one life and injuring several others.
Unprovoked Attack
Based on preliminary investigations, it appears that the unidentified gunman arrived at the restaurant shortly before the shooting with a female companion. The two men, who officials believe had no prior connection, reportedly began to argue, escalating to a point where the gunman started firing his weapon openly.
Amongst the victims is a man who is believed to be the one the suspect was arguing with. He succumbed to the gunshot wounds. Meanwhile, at least eight other individuals experienced various degrees of injury and were swiftly transported from the scene to the hospital by the responding emergency teams. The condition of the victims remains unknown at this time.
Suspects Flees Scene in a Luxury Vehicle
After turning the formerly relaxed setting into a scene of havoc and panic, the gunman and his companion fled the scene. Witnesses reported seeing the pair depart in a Mercedes GLS 450. Meanwhile, local law enforcement agencies have been working strenuously to track down the assailant, who had been identified as 46-year-old Anton Rucker on Sunday night.
Seeking Public Assistance
