Nashville Hosts First U.S. “Red Bull Jukebox” in Spectacular Musical Celebration

Nashville Celebrates the Inaugural U.S. “Red Bull Jukebox”

Nashville came alive last night as the city hosted the very first U.S. “Red Bull Jukebox” at the stunning Ascend Amphitheater on October 2. This unique event was a true celebration of music, creativity, and fan engagement, featuring some of the hottest acts in the country music scene. The evening was hosted by the vibrant and talented Ward Guenther from Whiskey Jam, who set the stage for a night filled with unexpected surprises and memorable performances.

A Night of Fan-Powered Music

The essence of the “Red Bull Jukebox” was clear from the start: fans played a crucial role in shaping the evening’s music experience! Each participating artist performed a four-song set that was entirely determined by the audience. Talk about being in the driver’s seat! The lineup included well-known names such as Brothers Osborne, Shaboozey, Priscilla Block, Tucker Wetmore, Muscadine Bloodline, Breland, and The Castellows, all backed by an incredible house band curated by guitarist and producer Derek Wells.

Opening up the evening, The Castellows set a lively tone with their tune “No. 7 Road” along with a few other fan favorites. The excitement continued to build as Breland took to the stage, igniting the crowd with a special surprise: he was joined by fellow artists Armani White and Mickey Guyton! Together, they delivered a powerful rendition of “Cross Country.” But that wasn’t all—Breland also brought on the Fisk Jubilee Singers for a heartfelt performance of “Praise the Lord,” inevitably raising spirits across the amphitheater. These moments showcased the magical synergy that live music can create.

A Variety of Talents Takes the Stage

As the night progressed, the energy was palpable with every artist that took the stage. Muscadine Bloodline thrilled the audience with their tracks “Porch Swing Angel” and the crowd-pleaser “Tickets To Turnpike.” Following their performance, Tucker Wetmore took over with fans loving every beat of “Already Had It” and “Wine Into Whiskey.”

The excitement grew even more as Priscilla Block got fans on their feet with an electrifying cover of Paramore’s “Still Into You” and her original hit “Off The Deep End.” Shaboozey then kept the vibe alive with his hit tracks “Highway” and the chart-topping “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” leaving everyone singing along and tapping their toes.

A Standout Moment: Songwriting Competition Winner

As the evening neared its end, a special moment unfolded with the announcement of Gary Frost as the winner of the “Red Bull Jukebox” songwriting competition. Frost had previously submitted his original track “Reason That I Love Life,” which resonated deeply with fans. He was rewarded with an all-expense-paid trip to record his music at the iconic Red Bull Music Studios in Los Angeles, not to mention one-on-one coaching sessions with seasoned professionals from BMI and the music industry. It’s clear that the future shines bright for this budding songwriter!

A Grand Finale with Brothers Osborne

To wrap up this unforgettable night, Brothers Osborne took center stage once again, delivering a rousing set filled with their hits. A highlight of their performance? The thrilling addition of the Tennessee State University marching band for their song “It Ain’t My Fault,” which had everyone dancing along in joyful spirit.

The inaugural U.S. “Red Bull Jukebox” truly brought together an electrifying mix of talent, fan participation, and sheer love for music. Nashville, known as Music City, once again proved why it’s the heartbeat of the music industry. With a night full of memories and music still echoing in the air, this event surely marked a fantastic beginning for future Red Bull Jukebox performances.
