Nashville, April 26, 2024 – The Nashville Kats, the city’s iconic arena football team, proudly introduced their powerful new theme song, “Klaws Out.” The highly energetic anthem was developed by GRAMMY-nominated musicians Jamie Floyd and Ty Herndon, and was skillfully produced by Jimmy Thow.

The song encapsulates the infectious energy and fighting spirit of the Nashville Kats. Set to become a rallying anthem for fans, “Klaws Out” is predicted to elevate the excitement of every game, galvanizing supporters as they cheer on their new favourite team.

Stellar Performances Scheduled

Delighting fans, Jamie Floyd will also attend the May 12 game against the Philadelphia Soul. She will mesmerize the crowd with her rendition of the national anthem before commencement of the game. Likewise, Ty Herndon is scheduled to grace the centre stage to perform the national anthem at the game against the Albany Firebirds on June 2.

Season Opener Alert: Saturday, April 27

In the light of the regular football season’s approaching kick-off, the Nashville Kats have called upon fans to save the date for the season-opening match. The very first clash of the season is scheduled on Saturday, April 27, against the Minnesota Myth. The bustling game will be held at the Municipal Auditorium in downtown Nashville.

The evening will commence with the Nashville Kats Pre-Game Block Party presented by Temptations at 5:30 p.m. It promises a mix of live music, mouth-watering food, refreshing drinks, and several thrilling activities. The event will also present an opportunity for attendees to meet the vivacious Lady Kats dancers and participate in an interactive session with the Hype Crew which will be busy sharing free giveaways. Furthermore, Kool Kat, the much-adored mascot, is also expected to make an appearance.

From 7:00 p.m. inside the arena, fans can enjoy a spectacular pre-game show featuring a performance by Blanco Brown, celebrated worldwide for his viral hit, “The Git Up.” His electrifying stage persona is bound to set the stage (and the mood) for an evening filled with exhilarating football action.
