As the curtain closes on 2023, Nashville is gearing up for one of the biggest celebrations of the year: Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash! Set to take place at the iconic Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, this thrilling event promises an *unforgettable night of music, food, and festivities* that locals and visitors alike won’t want to miss.
This year’s festivities will be co-lead by none other than the music maestro himself, Keith Urban. Joining him on stage are top-charting artists including Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, and Miranda Lambert. And that’s not all! The lineup also features the talents of Post Malone and Lainey Wilson, ensuring a night packed with sensational performances from 40 different acts.
Gates open at 5 p.m. on December 31, leading up to a mega five-hour CBS special that airs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. CT and again from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. CT. With over 200,000 attendees expected, this free event is open to everyone, making it the perfect venue for welcoming in the new year.
One of the highlights of the night will be the famous red Music Note, poised to drop from a towering height of 138 feet at midnight. This spectacle, combined with a shower of 100 pounds of biodegradable confetti—that even dissolves in the rain—will set the stage for a truly magical New Year’s celebration. Not to mention, the event has previously generated around $39 million in direct visitor spending!
This year, the event will include some fantastic new accessibility initiatives. Attendees will find a dedicated Sober Space, created in partnership with Cumberland Heights, for individuals and families in recovery from addiction. Furthermore, Sensory Bags provided by KultureCity will be available for those with sensory processing challenges, allowing everyone to enjoy the show to the fullest. There will also be ADA-accessible viewing areas and facilities, making it easier than ever for everyone to get involved in the fun.
Safety remains a top priority for this event, with over 250 security personnel on-site to ensure that everyone enjoys a relaxing and worry-free evening. All attendees will go through metal detectors and be subject to security searches as they enter the park. Additionally, a Designated Driver Zone will provide complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, encouraging everyone to celebrate responsibly. Two heated tents will keep folks comfortable all night long, along with phone charging stations scattered throughout the area.
No celebration is complete without delicious food! Expect food trucks serving all sorts of tasty treats, including hot dogs. Attendees can also snap photos with giant 2025 numerals and the Instagram-worthy Jack Daniel’s Barrel Tree. And for those wanting to take home a piece of the night, event merchandise like t-shirts and hoodies will be available near the heating tents.
To ensure a smooth experience, a clear bag policy will be enforced, allowing only clear bags no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”, alongside non-transparent wallets and cases that fit the specified size. There will also be two information booths ready to assist visitors and a “Lost and Found” operating until 10 p.m..
With all these exciting additions and an *incredible lineup of performances*, Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash is shaping up to be the event of the season. So mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and prepare to ring in the new year with style, music, and heart—right in the heart of Nashville!
