Nashville Set to Celebrate Pride Month with Grand Pride Festival and Parade in 2024

Nashville Pride 2024: A Guide to the Celebration of Pride Month in Music City

Nashville, Tennessee, the music city, is all set to become a rainbow city this June, celebrating Pride Month with a grand Pride Festival and Parade. The city’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community and allies will come together for the event, celebrating diversity, acceptance, and pride. Emphasizing unity and love, Nashville’s Pride 2024 is expected to draw masses to the two-day event taking place on Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23 at Bicentennial Park.

Kick-off with the Parade and Festival

Saturday’s festivities will begin at 10 a.m. on Broadway and 8th Ave with a free parade followed by a fest that opens up right after the parade, at 11! Sunday’s gate will also welcome guests starting at 11 AM. Given the rising summer heat, water is essential, and attendees are advised to bring along their refillable water bottles.

Ticket Information

Festival goers have multiple ticket options. A single general admission ticket is priced at $10, while a weekend pass is up for grabs at $15. Additionally, VIP options are available to provide an elevated experience. Children aged 10 and under are eligible for free entry at the event.

Fun-filled Events and Activities

Pride Festival 2024 assures a fun-filled day for all attendees, especially for the younger ones. With face painting, crafts, instrument making, a music petting zoo, and a unique drag storytime, the fun for the kids is guaranteed both days from noon to 4 p.m. A Youth Area will also be set up, providing activities throughout the weekend!

Rain or Shine – The Celebration Continues!

The Nashville Pride Festival runs rain or shine, so attendees should be prepared for every weather condition. Umbrellas and ponchos might prove helpful!

Navigating the Parking Situation

With large crowds anticipated, parking can become a bit stringent. Therefore, ride-share options are recommended to avoid any inconvenience. In case driving is unavoidable, parking spaces are available at the Metro Courthouse Garage for $5 on evenings and weekends, and at the Nashville Public Library Garage for $3 every half hour, with a maximum daily fee of $20. Also, a useful interactive map can assist in finding suitable parking areas.

Celebrating a Sense of Pride

Nashville Pride 2024 is gearing up to provide a memorable celebration. As a salute to diversity and acceptance, it is yet another shining testament to the City of Nashville’s welcoming spirit and its commitment to embracing all its citizens. So, get your rainbow flag ready, and prepare to join Nashville Pride 2024 in its grand celebration of love, unity, and acceptance for all!
