Speaking to the crowd, Tonya Bennett, a member of the pro-Israel group, expressed concern for American hostages, stating, “It used to be when you were an American, you knew that your country was coming for you. The American hostages over there right now, they don’t know that.”

Jacob Aberle, one of the volunteers for Run for Their Lives Nashville, offered his take, saying, “There’s only one side that’s trying to commit genocide here and it’s not us.” He emphasized that one of the group’s goals was to raise awareness about the hostages still being held and to seek their release.
