Nashville Resident Wins $1 Million on Mega Millions Ticket, Local Store Also Set for Reward

Nashville Local Hits Big With $1 Million Mega Millions Lottery Ticket

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – It’s a day of celebration for one lucky individual who purchased a lottery ticket in Nashville, as their ticket is now worth $1 million. The winning Mega Millions ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven situated at 3400 West End Avenue.

Lucky Numbers Hit the Jackpot

The winning ticket matched all of the five white numbers that were drawn on Saturday night: 6, 15, 32, 54, and 67. Furthermore, the winner had a bonus with the Mega Ball of 4. Despite not hitting the $181 million jackpot, the ticket holder has still nabbed a substantial million by matching the five drawn numbers.

Store to Receive Prize for Selling Winning Ticket

Besides the individual’s victory, even the store is in for a treat. Known for rewarding stores that make such large wins possible, the Lottery Association will award the 7-Eleven a bonus sum for having sold the winning ticket. The excitement from this win has undoubtedly spread beyond just the lucky ticket holder to the store’s owners and workers!

Elsewhere in the Mega Millions Universe

While Nashville housed one of the millionaires, two other lucky ticket holders from Massachusetts and Montana also woke up to a significantly plush Sunday, bagging a million dollars each. Despite these winnings, no one managed to scoop up the Mega Millions jackpot, which now stands at an attractive $181 million.

Lottery’s Contribution to Education

Apart from creating millionaires and injecting a dose of thrill into ordinary life, lottery games like Mega Millions also contribute significantly to the state. Any revenue generated through the sale of Tennessee lottery tickets is committed to funding education programs across the state. This ensures that each ticket bought represents not just a potential win for the buyer but also helps the broader community in a very direct way.

As the search begins for the lucky millionaire, it’s reminded once again of the fun and surprise element that lotteries like Mega Millions provide. Whether it be an individual, a local store, or the broader community through education funding, everyone stands to gain something.
