Overview

In the month of February, the Tennessee Department of Health conducted almost 1,800 inspections of restaurants, food trucks, and various food service kitchens in the Davidson County area of Nashville. Asian Taste: Score 69

On the initial inspection carried out on February 28, several violations were noted, including a broken dishwasher, a dirty walk-in cooler door with an internal hole, and the manager’s inability to answer questions on basic food safety. The Bungalow 10 restaurant was assessed on February 29 and found to have several hygiene issues, including employees removing clean dishes with dirty gloves and a leak causing water pooling in the walk-in cooler.

City Tap House: Score of 67

Subway (#7161): Score 72

One of the Subway chain’s local outlets received a score of 72 on its February 28 inspection. Violations included employees failing to wash hands before putting on gloves and a lack of basic food safety knowledge on the part of the person in charge.
