As if that weren’t enough, police received another call about a shooting on Fairfield Avenue early Sunday morning. Upon their arrival, they discovered another male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. He was also rushed to Vanderbilt, where he remains in critical condition.

Eyewitness accounts provided some insight, revealing that two males dressed in dark clothing were seen fleeing the scene shortly after the shots were fired, heading in the direction of University Court.
