Nashville is set to experience its first significant snowfall of the season, with a winter storm warning in effect. Light snow is expected to start falling tonight, with overnight accumulations ranging from 1 to 4 inches for most areas. The heaviest snowfall, reaching up to 6 inches, may impact regions north of Interstate 40. A cold weather advisory will follow, bringing dangerously low wind chill. Hey Nashville! It looks like winter is finally knocking on our doors, and it’s bringing the snow with it! The National Weather Service has just issued a winter storm warning for parts of Middle Tennessee, so get ready to see a blanket of white soon! The warning is effective from 9 p.m. Tuesday through noon Wednesday for areas north of Interstate 40, while those south of I-40 will be under a winter storm advisory.
