In a move aimed at enhancing its creative collaborations and strategic support for artists, the Opry Entertainment Group (OEG) announced on July 16, 2024, the addition of two new members to its Artist Relations team. Samantha Kane and Ariana Cubillos Voegler have been appointed as Artist Relations Manager and Artist Relations Coordinator respectively.
In her new role, Samantha Kane, a Florida State University graduate, is expected to leverage her experience in the music industry to develop the artist and industry relations of the OEG. Following her graduation in 2019, Kane began her industry journey as a Communications Assistant at the Country Music Association. She later joined the Big Machine Label Group (BMLG) as Promotions Coordinator and subsequently served as the Marketing & Events Manager, delivering successful marketing campaigns and managing events for the BMLG artist roster.
Ariana Cubillos Voegler, on the other hand, brings a unique blend of industry, academic, and technological expertise to her new role. Having completed a dual Bachelor of Music degree at Berklee College of Music, in music production & engineering and songwriting, Voegler is also pursuing a Master of Arts degree in music business from Berklee Online. Her professional experience includes internships at Round Hill Music, Starstruck Studios, and marketing experience at TAXI in Los Angeles, complemented by legal experience from Neal & Harwell, PLC in Nashville.
As part of their responsibilities, Samantha Kane and Ariana Cubillos Voegler will be pivotal in driving engagement and creating new opportunities at the Grand Ole Opry and OEG. They will directly report to Jordan Pettit, the Director of Artist Relations & Programming Strategy, and join Jenn Tressler, Artist & Label Strategy Senior Manager, on the inviting team.
OEG’s effort to strengthen its Artist Relations team doesn’t stop here. The organization is also currently in the hunt for a Manager of Artist & Industry Relations, indicating its clear intention of boosting its team with professionals passionate about developing the music industry.
The new additions reflect a new era for the Opry Entertainment Group. The inclusion of Samantha Kane and Ariana Cubillos Voegler in the team gleams a stronger focus of OEG on fostering a nurturing and empowering environment for artists. This change in the Artist Relations team will indeed help carry forth the legacy of music, allowing OEG to continue to offer exceptional experiences to music lovers and industry stakeholders.
