This development started its journey back in 2021, when the YMCA of Nashville embarked on a quest for proposals to improve their existing downtown facility while also looking to expand its offerings in collaboration with nearby sites. The winning proposal combined a five-story YMCA addition at the corner of Church Street and YMCA Way along with the striking 60-story tower.

The project has stirred excitement amongst local leaders. Tony Giarratana, the President of Giarratana LLC, expressed his enthusiasm about bringing the Paramount to Nashville’s core, stating, “As the new tallest tower on the skyline, I hope it earns its place as a treasured landmark for the city.”

The construction of this ambitious tower is set to kick off late this year, with expectations for completion by 2027. As the plans unfold, the building’s architectural style promises to turn heads, featuring a 30-foot-tall clear-glass lobby that will create a captivating entrance for residents and visitors alike. A circular-drive porte cochere will enhance this dramatic entryway.
