Pat Martin Set to Host His Own TV Series on the Outdoor Channel
Nashville’s renowned pitmaster, Pat Martin, has announced an exciting new venture —Hosting his own TV series, ‘Life of Fire’, on the Outdoor Channel.
The New TV Series ‘Life of Fire’
Taking a deep dive into the diverse world of barbecue and live-fire cooking, the show is set to take viewers on a culinary journey across the country. Guided by Martin’s skilled and passionate expertise, the series will explore a variety of unique cooking styles, all centered around the primal element of fire. In each episode, viewers will get to witness Martin visiting pitmasters, renowned chefffs, and farmers, highlighting their cooking heritage and deep-rooted traditions.
Produced by Andrew Zimmern’s Intuitive Content, the new series is scheduled to begin airing on Monday, May 6.
Topgolf Swing Suites Open at Tempo
In other community news, Nashville has landed its first Topgolf Swing Suites at the Tempo by Hilton in downtown. These suites provide a virtual golfing experience, where players hit actual balls at a high-tech screen equipped with sensors. The objective of the game is to land the balls as close to a series of targets as possible, testing players’ precision and skill.
The Topgolf Swing Suites are open to the public, offering maximum accommodations for six guests per suite, and features its own private bar with a food and drink menu.
New Ladybird Taco Location in East Nashville
On April 5, Ladybird Taco opened the doors to its new East Nashville location, the third for the fast-casual operation. This new location is set to feature breakfast tacos, chips, queso, and Crema lattes, a cornerstone of the 12 South location’s offerings. East Nashville-based customers can also look forward to sipping on Rosemary Cider from the local outfit, Brightwood Craft Cider, with the possibility of margaritas being introduced in the near future.
Themed Brunches and Music on the Farm
Several themed brunches have also been announced citywide, with an Elvis-themed brunch taking the spotlight at Franklin’s Harpeth Hotel. The brunch features delicacies including bacon, peanut butter, and banana whipped cream French toast, Memphis-style ribs, chicken fried steak, and a special performance by an Elvis impersonator.
Furthermore, The Land Trust for Tennessee is hosting a Music on the Farm benefit concert on April 17. The benefit concert will feature a performance by the Grammy-winning artist Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway. The ticket also includes access to cocktails and food stations offering various delicacies.
