Nashville Welcomes Pentatonix for a Holiday Spectacle Dec 5 at Bridgestone Arena

Nashville, Get Ready for a Magical Night with Pentatonix!

The excitement is building in Nashville as the Grammy-award-winning group, Pentatonix, is set to perform their holiday spectacular, Hallelujah! It’s a Christmas Tour, at the Bridgestone Arena on December 5. Fans can look forward to an evening dedicated to their favorite tunes from the group’s extensive catalog—a perfect way to kick off the festive season!

A Special Connection to Music City

Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee of Pentatonix expressed their heartfelt enthusiasm for returning to Nashville. The duo mentioned that they have a special connection to the city, calling it one of their “favorite places to go.” Olusola and Sallee emphasized just how much they enjoy performing for the Nashville crowd, stating, “We haven’t been to Bridgestone or Nashville in a couple of years, and so it’s one of our favorite places to go because Nashvillians appreciate music so much.”

The duo further highlighted, “It feels like an honor anytime we get to play there because if we get a good reaction from Nashville, we’re set.” After all, there’s no place quite like Nashville when it comes to music appreciation!

Intimate Performances and New Technology

During the concert, fans can expect a show filled with not just their beloved classics but also new technology methods utilized in their performance. “It’s going to be an exciting blend of our music mixed with current technology,” Olusola mentioned. Their performances promise to be intimate, allowing for a special connection with the audience—a hallmark of Pentatonix concerts.

The Magic of Music City

What’s particularly special for the group is that they wrote some of their biggest hits right in Nashville. One such song is Kid on Christmas, which has become a fan favorite. “I personally love it because when we get on stage, there are people that really appreciate what we do and the musicality of our arrangements,” shared Olusola. It’s clear that the group feels an incredible sense of gratitude for the city and its music-loving residents.

Foodie Favorites: Nashville Hot Chicken!

And it wouldn’t be a trip to Nashville without a mention of the city’s delicious food scene! Both Olusola and Sallee couldn’t help but rave about the famous Nashville hot chicken. Kevin said, “Oh, that is a treasure… If you haven’t been to Edley’s, some of the best chicken I’ve ever had, whoa. So good!” It seems food fans and music lovers alike are in for a treat as Pentatonix makes their way to Music City.

For fans looking to enjoy more of Pentatonix’s musical magic, there’s also exciting news: the group stars in a new Netflix rom-com titled Meet Me Next Christmas, where they get to play themselves. What a fun way to see them in a different light!
