Nashville’s Pink Christmas to Celebrate 15 Years of Support for Breast Cancer Survivors with Themed Masquerade Ball

Exciting Times in Nashville: Pink Christmas Celebrates 15 Years!

Nashville is gearing up for a remarkable evening as Pink Christmas prepares to celebrate its 15th Anniversary on Saturday, December 14th, 2024. This fantastic event will take place at the elegant Loews Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel, located at 2100 West End Ave.. It promises to be a night filled with joyous celebration and heartfelt recognition, all in the name of raising awareness and support for breast cancer survivors and their families.

Themed Masquerade Ball: Unmasking the Cure

This year’s theme, “Unmasking the Cure,” invites guests to come dressed in formal attire and showcase their creativity with a beautiful masquerade mask. The festivities will kick off with a cocktail hour starting at 6:15 PM, where attendees can enjoy drinks and socializing, all while being serenaded by the talented violinist, Loren Hatcher.

A Night Filled with Entertainment

As the clock strikes 7:15 PM, dinner will be served, featuring live entertainment by the Sonja Hopkins Band. The evening is centered around more than just great food and lively music—it’s also a time to celebrate the courage of those impacted by breast cancer. During the dinner, Pink Christmas will award its prestigious Mattie P. H. Pratt Scholarship to deserving students studying cancer research. In addition to that, the event will recognize and honor breast cancer survivors, making for a truly uplifting experience.

Supporting a Noble Cause

Pink Christmas, a non-profit organization founded in December 2009, has a rich history of supporting breast cancer survivors. The organization was established in memory of Mrs. Mattie P. H. Pratt, who lost her battle with breast cancer in March 2007. Since then, Pink Christmas has provided financial aid, food donations, and numerous gifts to help families in need during their journeys with cancer.

This anniversary celebration is not only about giving a nod to the past—it’s also a call to action. With rising health care disparities, Pink Christmas is asking for the community’s support to continue their vital initiatives. They offer various sponsorship opportunities that allow local businesses and individuals to contribute significantly to the event’s success. Becoming a sponsor grants you benefits at various sponsorship levels, ensuring that the event runs smoothly while placing your brand at the heart of this important mission.

Get Involved!

Even if you can’t commit to sponsoring, attending this heartwarming event is a wonderful way to show your support. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite, checks, cashier’s checks, or money orders. Tickets are available at $100 for general admission, $150 for VIP access, $1,000 for a general admission table of ten, and $1,200 for a VIP table of eight.

Funds raised during this anniversary celebration, along with previous events like the Pink Christmas Afternoon of Hope: Health and Wellness Fair and the Pink Christmas Car and Bike Show, will directly support their ongoing programs—like the Pink Christmas Day of Diagnosis Initiative and the Mattie P. H. Pratt Scholarship.

Donate and Make a Difference

If you’re unable to join the celebration but still want to contribute, Pink Christmas welcomes tax-deductible donations. You can visit their website to make a contribution or send checks to their P.O. Box in Hendersonville. Every little bit helps in making a real difference in the lives of those battling breast cancer.

Join the Celebration!

Nashville’s Pink Christmas promises an unforgettable evening filled with hope, joy, and community spirit. Whether you’re a local resident or just passing through, consider joining them in celebrating 15 years of dedication to breast cancer awareness and support. Mark your calendars for December 14th—together, we can make a difference!
