Nashville is about to gain a delightful new addition to its dining scene with the opening of its first Postino Wine Bar. Known for its cozy atmosphere and extensive wine selections, this all-day wine bar will settle into the vibrant 12 South neighborhood, ready to become a favorite local hangout.
Postino has gained a dedicated following across the United States, boasting nearly 30 locations in states like California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, and Georgia. Each restaurant is designed to reflect the unique character of its neighborhood, often featuring furniture sourced from local vintage shops. This thoughtful approach to design and ambiance aims to create a welcoming community space for guests.
According to a press release from the company, the decision to come to Nashville stems from the charm and vibrancy of the 12 South community. Lauren Bailey, Co-Founder and CEO of Postino, expressed her excitement, saying, “There is so much to love about Nashville and everyone on the Postino team is very excited to soon be a part of this thriving community. We just knew that 12 South was a neighborhood that we wanted to be a part of.”
At Postino, guests can expect to enjoy a seasonal menu that features delicious options ranging from bruschetta and panini to shareable plates. Happy hour specials will also be available to make any visit a bit more affordable and enjoyable. But beyond just food and drink, Postino stands firm in its mission to “Make People Feel Good.” The brand aims to create a relaxed environment where friends can unwind, socialize, and enjoy great food and wine.
The new Postino will be situated at 2317 12 Ave. S., right next door to Faherty and across from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. The location will encompass a spacious 3,780 square-foot restaurant, featuring 135 seats inside as well as a lovely 68-seat outdoor patio where guests can enjoy their meals surrounded by the charm of the neighborhood.
Nashville residents can look forward to the opening of Postino in late October. As of now, a specific opening date has not been disclosed, but a spokesperson for Postino confirmed that they are preparing for a grand launch.
Postino offers an exciting program known as the “Wine Cult,” creating a sense of community among wine lovers. Members of this program receive exclusive seasonal releases and special wine deals. The Wine Cult membership allows individuals to enjoy four hand-picked wines four times a year, along with a 20% discount on the wine bottle collection available within the restaurant.
Members can easily manage their membership through the Postino Wine Cult mobile app, where they can also find seasonal releases dropping in January, April, July, and October. Once enrolled, members can expect to receive their first seasonal release after their membership charge. Both annual and quarterly memberships are available for those interested in joining.
The goal of Postino is to become not just a place to eat, but a true neighborhood hangout for those in the 12 South area. With its focus on creating a friendly atmosphere, Postino aims to be a hub for social interactions, celebrations, and memorable moments shared over great food and drink.
As Nashville gears up to welcome Postino to its diverse culinary landscape, many local residents and wine enthusiasts are eager to see what this unique wine bar has to offer. With its distinctive menu, inviting ambiance, and commitment to bringing people together, Postino looks set to become a beloved fixture in the Music City.
