Puryear Law Group Becomes Puryear Pippenger & Cook To Reflect Partner Leadership, Firm Expansion

Nashville and Chattanooga’s Legal Firm Turns a New Leaf

Announced on July 8, 2024, Puryear Law Group PLLC has decided to change its name to Puryear Pippenger & Cook PLLC. The name change is intended to reflect the significant roles of its partners Andrew Pippenger and Charles Cook, as well as the firm’s continuous expansion, according to founder Dan Puryear. With offices in Nashville and Chattanooga, the firm takes a step forward in its journey.

A New Milestone

Founder Dan Puryear spoke of this evolution with pride, assessing it as an indication of the firm’s growth in diverse sectors, including financial services, real estate, construction, and insurance. He remarked, “Our firm’s new name marks a significant milestone in its history as we continue to grow our reach.” Prior to this change, Pippenger joined Puryear Law Group in 2019, bringing over two decades of experience from Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC. Cook on the other hand, joined the firm in 2022 after serving Adams and Reese.

New Perspectives and Collaborations

Through the name change, the firm aims to embody its commitment to carrying out effective collaborations with boutique firms. The partners believe that doing so enriches the perspectives offered to clients, thereby proving beneficial for both sides.

The Chattanooga-based Pippenger specializes in litigation covering real estate, contract, and property disputes and is a recognized member of several legal affiliations. He expressed honor in partnering with Dan and Charlie by saying, “I’m honored to partner with Dan and Charlie in continuing to grow our enterprise and provide exceptional representation to our clients in partnership with other legal professionals.”

Everyday Endeavors for Client Justice

Cook, who comes with an impressive 30 years of legal practice, primarily manages clients dealing with commercial litigation, bankruptcy issues, and commercial loan workouts. Speaking on the change, Cook said, “It’s a privilege to be part of this firm and work with our exceptional team as we seek to help our clients navigate complicated legal matters.”

Ever since its establishment in 2002, the firm, now known as Puryear Pippenger & Cook, has worked diligently to represent its clients in areas such as commercial litigation, commercial collections and judgment recovery, commercial creditors’ rights in bankruptcy, and commercial construction litigation.

The firm has launched a new logo and updated its website to align with the firm’s new name and brand identity.
