Nashville Set to Welcome the Red Beans Road Show with Chef Pableaux Johnson!

Hey, Nashville food lovers! Get ready to roll out the welcome mat because the Red Beans Road Show is coming back to our vibrant city. Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 11, as it promises to be a delightful culinary evening that many have been eagerly awaiting. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, this popular event, hosted by the lively and talented Chef Pableaux Johnson from the Big Easy, is back and better than ever!

What’s all the fuss about?

The Red Beans Road Show is more than just a meal—it’s an experience! This traveling pop-up restaurant series has made its way to Nashville for a number of years prior to COVID, bringing with it an invigorating sense of community and delicious food. Picture this: a charming three-course meal, laughter ringing in the air, and a chance to meet new friends over some classic New Orleans-style fare. Sign us up!

The Man Behind the Magic

Chef Pableaux Johnson isn’t just a culinary master; he’s also a skilled photographer, writer, and storyteller. He first crossed paths with your humble author many moons ago at a Southern Foodways Alliance event. In fact, Chef Pableaux reached out to cook up some iconic red beans and rice in my kitchen, sparking unforgettable gatherings with friends old and new. Imagine sharing a meal with a bunch of wonderful people while sipping a cold beer from a local brewery long before it became a household name! Sounds amazing, right?

Get Ready for a Flavorful Feast!

This upcoming sensational dinner will be hosted at Biscuit Love Brunch in Hillsboro Village, right at 2001 Belcourt Ave. The evening will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with some casual mingling—perfect for breaking the ice! At 7 p.m., it’s time to sink your teeth into the delicious fare Chef Pableaux has prepared. The menu? Oh, it sounds fantastic! Expect a delightful starter, the star of the show—red beans accompanied by skillet cornbread—and to top it all off, a sweet dessert!

For Everyone!

Not to worry if you have specific dietary needs; both meat and vegetarian options will be available. Chef Pableaux will be teaming up with Karl and Sarah Worley to ensure that this event isn’t just about good food, but also about creating a fun, lively atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.

How to Join In on the Fun?

Excited yet? Tickets are priced at just $50, a small price to pay for an evening of delectable food and new friendships. You can reserve your spot through the official RBRS website. Don’t forget to share your food preferences when you book!

Let’s Come Together!

Given some of the heartbreaking incidents that have unfolded in New Orleans recently, this gathering emphasizes the significance of community and support. It’s a great reminder that food can bring people together, and that we can stand strong by each other, especially in tough times.

So, Nashville friends, let’s make absolute magic on January 11. The chance to meet fellow food enthusiasts and gather around a shared love for the culinary arts awaits. I can’t wait to see some familiar faces and make new friends too! Cheers to good food and great company!
