Attention, Nashville! The buzz is real as the countdown begins for the 12th Annual Rising Women on the Row ceremony, scheduled for March 20, 2025, at the fabulous Omni Nashville Hotel! This event has become a staple in the music community, celebrating the amazing contributions and incredible visionary leadership of women in the Nashville music industry.
That’s right! Nominations are now officially open, and it’s time to shine a spotlight on the extraordinary women making waves in the music biz. If you know someone who has truly made a difference, don’t hesitate to nominate her! Just a heads up: the nomination process will close on Friday, January 17, 2025, so be sure to get those submissions in!
It’s important to note that candidates who were nominated in previous years must be resubmitted for consideration. Also, if you think of multiple women who deserve a nod, while multiple nominations for the same individual won’t boost her chances, different nominators can certainly submit her name through separate forms. And just to make it clear: self-nominations are welcomed and even encouraged!
Curious about who will be celebrated in the upcoming class? Well, the list of honorees will be announced soon, and more details about the event will be unveiled in the coming weeks. It’s bound to be an inspiring affair with much excitement surrounding it!
If you’re eager to attend this incredible series of celebrations, hold tight! Ticket sales for the event will begin shortly, and trust us—you don’t want to miss it. It’s your chance to be part of recognizing remarkable women and their phenomenal impact in the industry.
One of the sparkling highlights of this year’s ceremony will be the unveiling of a brand-new print issue titled “Women of Music Row”. This publication aims to spotlight even more contributions and highlight the influence women have on this vibrant industry. It’s all about celebrating their journeys and efforts throughout the years!
Since its inception in 2012, the Rising Women on the Row event has honored over 60 women who are leading the charge in their fields! Last year’s honorees included a dynamic lineup of industry powerhouses such as Tiffany Kerns, Taylor Lindsey, and Sloane Cavitt Logue, among others. Previous years have celebrated winners from as far back as 2013, and the legacy continues to grow each year.
This powerful event emphasizes the need for empowerment and the recognition of women leaders in the music industry. It serves as a reminder of how far we’ve come and how far we have yet to go, always recognizing the invaluable contributions women make.
