NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A sense of relief touches a family after a man miraculously survives a road rage shooting incident on Murfreesboro Pike. The crime occurred just over a week ago, leaving the victim in the face of a challenging recovery ordeal.

Grim Incident: A Tragic Morning

Brianna Tapia, the victim’s daughter, recounted the incident to us, stating that her father was leaving a job site in Antioch when his truck came under heavy gunfire. The local authorities suspect the unfortunate event to be a road rage shooting which took place on the morning of Thursday, March 28.

Repercussions: A family in Distress

Tapia expressed her inability to comprehend the actions of the other driver. She emphasized how the incident transcended from her father to affect her entire family, including his kids, grandkids, wife, friends, and employees. “We’re lucky he’s still here,” she commented, expressing the family’s thankful sentiments for his survival.

Tapia managed to remember the chilling phone call she received from her father’s wife. “She just kept saying…your dad called me saying shot shot shot. I’m on my way there,” she recalls the call which put the whole family in initial shock and subsequent worry.

Community Support: A Helping Hand

To assist with the mounting medical expenses, Tapia initiated a GoFundMe campaign for her father’s speedy recovery. Their story echoes the struggles faced by numerous families in the aftermath of senseless violence.
