Starting March 5, 2025, you can hop on a nonstop flight from Nashville International Airport (BNA) all the way to Houston and Boston. That’s right, adventure awaits you!
But that’s not all! Spirit Airlines is also gearing up to bring a bit of sun your way with limited-time flights to Fort Myers (RSW), Miami (MIA), and Pensacola (PNS). Flights to Pensacola will take off starting March 6, while you can catch flights to Miami and Fort Myers beginning March 8. If you’ve been dreaming of some beach time, now’s your chance to hit the waves!
Speaking of Pensacola, the airline is launching new nonstop destinations to and from this coastal gem. Travelers can look forward to new routes connecting Pensacola to Chicago (ORD), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), and Detroit (DTW), all kicking off in March 2025. Spirit Airlines recognizes the vibrant charm of Pensacola, which has been part of their network since June 2021, and they’re excited to help more people discover its beautiful beaches and rich history.
John Kirby, the VP of Network Planning at Spirit, expressed optimism about how these new routes will help travelers experience everything Pensacola has to offer. And it seems local officials are equally thrilled. The executive director of Pensacola International Airport noted that Spirit’s expansion creates new opportunities for local adventurers and makes traveling even easier!
The announcement of this expansion comes with a total of 24 new routes for the spring season, targeting travel enthusiasts looking to explore popular beach destinations such as Florida, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. Notably, from March 20 to April 8, 2024, you can travel from Baltimore/Washington (BWI) to the breathtaking Punta Cana (PUJ) four times a week. Ready to trade in your winter coat for a pair of flip-flops?
Nashville is not the only city that will benefit from this expansion. Spirit is also introducing new routes from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) to Myrtle Beach (MYR) in South Carolina, which will operate four times weekly between March 19 and April 7, 2024. And from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), daily flights to San Juan in Puerto Rico will resume, kicking off on February 12 and running through March 18, 2025.
In another exciting development, San Antonio will welcome nonstop flights to San Juan starting March 5, 2025, along with new connections to Miami. There are even plans to run seasonal flights to Tampa as families gear up for spring break festivities, including the Mardi Gras celebrations.
Spirit Airlines is determined to enhance its network, especially with the opening of a new terminal at San Antonio International Airport. Travelers from Dallas/Fort Worth can benefit too, as a new daily link to Charlotte (CLT) will run from March 6 to 21, 2025.
