Nashville to Welcome New Omakase-Style Sushi Speakeasy, Offering Unforgettable Upscale Dining Experience

Sushi | Bar to Open in Nashville: A New Upscale Dining Experience

Coming Soon: New Omakase-Style Speakeasy

On July 18, the much-anticipated Sushi | Bar, an omakase-style sushi speakeasy, will open its doors in the heart of bustling Nashville. Under the helm of Adept Hospitality, this innovative eatery promises to offer an intimate and unforgettable dining experience for sushi enthusiasts and foodies alike.

Original Concept in a Unique Location

Nestled inside Golden Sound, Adept Hospitality’s new cocktail lounge, Sushi | Bar will be located at 610 Magazine Street in The Gulch. Designed as a space where elegance meets comfort, the restaurant aims to recreate the casual ambiance of a friendly dinner party, where every meal aims to feel like a precious memory.

Striking a Balanced Equation of Cuisine and Ambiance

The concept is clear—two sushi bar rooms, each accommodating twelve guests per seating, who will be led through a seventeen-course tasting menu. With only three seatings per night and counter seating, every guest will be given exclusive access to watch sushi chefs expertly prepare fish sourced directly from Japanese markets.

The seasonal menu, solely comprised of nigiri, will be complemented by sake pairings and a variety of other beverages to enhance every bite. What’s more, the on-site sommelier will guide patrons through the process of selecting the perfect drink to complement their meal.

An Exceptional Culinary Expedition

Ryan Stock, the CEO of Adept Hospitality, believes that bringing Sushi | Bar to Nashville reflects the city’s flourishing culinary landscape. In his words, “Our goal is to not only deliver an exceptional dining experience that leaves people reminiscing for years to come but also cultivate a sense of community at every counter.”

Externally, Golden Sound, the cocktail lounge connected to Sushi | Bar, showcases an impressive range of premium spirits and expertly crafted cocktails, readily available for those wanting to unwind before or after their omakase experience.

Sensual Architecture and Design

The restaurant design, brought to life by local Nashville-based designers Remick Architecture, pays homage to the site’s history as a recording studio back in the 1960s. Natural materials, a muted color palette, and strategic lighting come together to yield an atmosphere of tranquility and harmony.

Thick velvet curtains serve as a prelude to the immersive experience, sweeping guests into a private and subtly charged environment where they can enjoy a seventeen-course culinary journey beginning at $165 per person.

The Pre- and Post-Dining Experience

The experience at Sushi | Bar is designed to transgress the regular dining routine. Guests are encouraged to arrive twenty minutes early to savor a complimentary welcome cocktail and set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. With no reservation needed, patrons can enjoy a seamless transition from cocktail lounge to restaurant and back again, sealing their evening out in Nashville with a sophisticated touch.
