Halls Chophouse Operators Announce New Upscale Seafood Restaurant, Halls Catch, in Nashville

Halls Chophouse Team to Introduce Upscale Seafood Restaurant in Nashville

Riding high on the success of Halls Chophouse, Nashville’s award-winning steakhouse known for its exceptional service and high-quality ingredients, Hall Management Group is set to introduce Halls Catch, a sister seafood restaurant also located in the Broadwest office tower at 1600 West End Avenue. The news comes as a pleasant surprise for Nashville’s rapidly growing gourmand population, marking a new venture for the Charleston, South Carolina-based restaurant group.

A New Paradigm in Seafood Dining

Halls Catch brings a fresh perspective on upscale seafood dining in Nashville. According to Tommy Hall, President and CEO of Hall Management Group, the inspiration to launch this new venture stemmed from requests by the local community. Indications were that their patrons were fascinated by the prospect of a seafood concept, with the expectation of leveraging their coastal connections for the freshest fish and seafood, all this while upholding the hallmark standard of excellent service and unforgettable dining experiences.

Halls Catch – A Glimpse into the Future

Months of meticulous planning and research has helped carve a distinct identity for Halls Catch, with a promise to deliver something diverse and true to the Hall name. Hall Management Group’s Executive Chef, Matthew Niessner, has curated the menu to be vibrant, distinctive, and always fresh. Unlike anything Nashville has to offer, the menu will array high-end and scarce caviars, unique sushi and sashimi selections, as well as a raw seafood program encompassing oysters, clams, lobster, shrimp, and crab. Main courses will feature whole fish servings and unique cuts of fish, locally sourced farm offerings, and exclusive meats from trusted partner Allen Brothers. Not forgetting the closure of any meal with Halls’ tempting dessert and coffee offerings.

Leadership at Halls Catch

At the helm of affairs at Halls Catch are Vladimir Simich as General Manager and Morgan Lewis as Executive Chef. Simich, previously associated with Electric Jane, carries an illustrious history of the hospitality industry. On the other hand, Chef Lewis, an alumnus of the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, California, joins Halls Catch after establishing the popular Nashville destination The Optimist.

Halls Catch Interior and Seating

Garvin Design Group has designed Halls Catch to feature the expected level of excellence Hall’s is known for, carrying through the main dining room, bar lounge, centerpiece bar, private dining room, and covered outdoor dining space. Warm wood millwork, undulating felt acoustic ceiling fins, luxe pearlescent bar front tile, and textured wall finishes are some of the key interior features scheduled to amaze the patrons.

Looking Forward

Construction is now underway led by Doster Construction, who also completed Halls Chophouse Nashville. Halls Catch aspires to employ 100 people and plans to start hiring in August, offering high-earning potential, full benefits from day one for full-time employees, and employer-paid employee mental health assistance programs. The fully completed restaurant is scheduled for opening this fall.
